Oud Luwatu begins with grain, bark and the quiet depth of wood, but its character emerges from the tension around that familiar impression.
The defining tension comes from two sides: White oud, Patchouli and Basil; in counterpoint, Guava and Peppermint. This makes the composition more than a literal study of one note.
You'll like it if: you look for a woody direction and want White oud and Patchouli to define its centre.
Not the best choice if: you are looking above all for juicy fruit, an overt floral bouquet or a dessert-like sweetness.
Choose this if: you want White oud, Patchouli and Basil in one composition, with the green and herbal facet acting as the distinguishing turn.
